We are looking for a QA – Fabrication professional responsible for ensuring quality compliance in fabrication, laser, welding, bending, and assembly processes as per drawings, customer requirements, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect fabricated, welded, bent, and assembled components
Verify parts as per engineering drawings, tolerances, and specifications
Perform in-process and final inspections
Conduct visual welding inspection and dimensional checks
Ensure compliance with WPS, ISO 9001, and IATF 16949 requirements
Prepare and maintain quality records, inspection reports, and checklists
Handle non-conformances, corrective & preventive actions (CAPA)
Support internal, customer, and third-party audits (ISO / IATF)
Monitor rejection, rework, and root cause analysis
Ensure calibration and control of measuring instruments
Required Skills & Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of fabrication, welding, bending, and assembly processes
Ability to read and interpret fabrication & welding drawings
Knowledge of measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.)
Good understanding of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards
Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan (preferred)
Understanding of welding symbols and quality standards
Preferred Skills:
Experience in automotive / auto-component fabrication industry
Knowledge of laser cutting, press brake, and jig & fixture inspection
Familiarity with 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement tools
Good communication and coordination skills
Qualification & Experience:
Diploma / BE Mechanical or ITI with relevant experience
Minimum 2–5 years experience in QA – Fabrication / Automotive QA
