ROLE SUMMARY
AHC is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to own the organization's day-to-day financial operations, ensure full statutory compliance, and deliver accurate, timely financial reporting to leadership. This role is central to strengthening financial governance as the organization grows across multiple locations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
▪ Manage end-to-end bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance and monthly book closures across all branches.
▪ Prepare and finalize financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements.
▪ Ensure timely and accurate GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory filings and compliance.
▪ Oversee accounts payable and receivable, vendor payment cycles, and patient billing reconciliation.
▪ Manage payroll processing in coordination with HR Manager, for compliance.
▪ Conduct periodic bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow across locations and maintaining proper reporting.
▪ Serve as primary liaison with external auditors, tax consultants, and the engaged CA firm for audits and filings.
▪ Prepare MIS reports, budget-vs-actual analyses, and financial dashboards for management review.
▪ Establish and maintain robust internal financial controls; identify opportunities for cost optimization.
▪ Mentor and review the work of junior accounts staff and interns if any.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
▪ B.Com / M.Com; CA (Inter) or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
▪ 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience; healthcare, clinic, or service-industry background preferred.
▪ Strong working knowledge of Tally / ERP systems, GST, TDS, and Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
▪ Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and financial modelling.
▪ High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
▪ Demonstrated ability to manage multi-branch, consolidated accounting.
PREFERRED SKILLS
▪ Experience with healthcare billing and insurance reconciliation processes.
▪ Familiarity with statutory payroll compliance (PF, ESIC, Professional Tax).
▪ Strong cross-functional communication and coordination skills to effectively liaise with clinical and administrative teams.
