We are looking for a skilled Heavy Vehicle Driver with more than 5 years of driving experience. The candidate must have a valid heavy vehicle license and strong knowledge of road safety rules. The role involves driving, maintaining the vehicle, and ensuring timely delivery/transportation.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy vehicles such as trucks, bus, or transport vehicles.
- Ensure timely transportation of goods/materials as per schedule.
- Perform routine checks on vehicle condition (oil, brakes, lights, tires, etc.).
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle.
- Follow traffic rules, safety guidelines, and company policies.
- Keep logbooks, mileage reports, and delivery records updated.
- Report any mechanical issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Assist with loading/unloading if required.
Requirements
- Valid Heavy Vehicle License (HMV/HTV/Transport License).
- Minimum 5 years of heavy vehicle driving experience.
- Good knowledge of routes, traffic norms, and road safety.
- Physically fit and able to work long hours.
- Responsible, punctual, and disciplined.
