Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Principal to lead the academic, administrative, and strategic functions of our Degree College. The ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge of admissions, academics, examinations, accreditation processes, and regulatory compliance, particularly with Bangalore University norms and NAAC requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for the overall growth and development of the institution.
- Oversee academic planning, curriculum implementation, and quality assurance initiatives.
- Lead and manage student admissions, enrollment strategies, and retention activities.
- Ensure smooth conduct of examinations and adherence to university regulations.
- Coordinate and oversee all activities related to NAAC accreditation, IQAC, and quality enhancement initiatives.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of Bangalore University guidelines, policies, and academic regulations.
- Monitor faculty performance, recruitment, professional development, and academic excellence.
- Ensure compliance with UGC, University, and other statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Foster strong relationships with students, parents, faculty, university authorities, and industry stakeholders.
- Develop and implement institutional policies to enhance academic and operational effectiveness.
- Drive institutional growth through innovation, student engagement, and academic excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in a relevant discipline from a recognized university.
- Eligibility as per UGC and Bangalore University norms.
- Proven experience as a Principal, Vice Principal, Dean, Academic Director, or equivalent leadership position in a higher education institution.
