We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Intern to manage and grow our online presence. You will assist in creating content, engaging with audiences, and analyzing performance across various social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and schedule content for platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter (X)
- Assist in developing social media strategies and campaigns
- Write captions, posts, and basic marketing copy
- Monitor social media channels and respond to comments/messages
- Track performance metrics (likes, reach, engagement)
- Research industry trends and competitor activities
- Support in running paid campaigns (optional)
- Collaborate with design and marketing teams
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and trends
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Creativity and eye for design/content
- Familiarity with tools like Canva or basic editing apps
- Basic knowledge of hashtags, reels, and content formats
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing a personal or college social media page
- Knowledge of tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or Meta Business Suite
- Basic understanding of analytics and insights
