Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Production In-Charge to manage day-to-day production activities in our EV scooter manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for achieving production targets, maintaining quality standards, managing manpower, improving productivity, and ensuring smooth production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and monitor daily production activities as per production targets.
- Manage the complete assembly and production process of EV scooters.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within the planned timelines.
- Supervise production operators, technicians, and line workers.
- Allocate manpower effectively across different production processes.
- Monitor assembly line performance and identify production bottlenecks.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with Quality, Stores, Purchase, Maintenance, and Engineering teams.
- Ensure availability of required components and materials for uninterrupted production.
- Monitor rejection, rework, downtime, and production losses.
- Maintain production records, reports, and daily MIS.
- Implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce wastage.
- Ensure proper handling and traceability of EV components such as batteries, motors, controllers, wiring harnesses, chargers, and electrical assemblies.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to minimize machine and equipment downtime.
- Ensure workplace safety, 5S, housekeeping, and discipline on the shop floor.
- Investigate production issues and take corrective/preventive actions.
- Train and guide production staff on processes, quality, and safety requirements.
- Support new product introduction, process trials, and line improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable EV manufacturing standards.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of EV two-wheeler manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Good understanding of production planning and shop-floor management.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement.
- Strong manpower handling and leadership skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve production issues quickly.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of quality control and production documentation.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and production reporting.
- Ability to work in a target-driven manufacturing environment.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering discipline.
- Experience in automobile / EV / two-wheeler manufacturing will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Proactive, disciplined, and target-oriented approach.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
