Breezair India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior AC Technician to lead installation, servicing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance activities for residential, commercial, and industrial HVAC systems. The candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to ensure quality service while guiding junior technicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service, repair, and maintain all types of air-conditioning systems including Split ACs, Cassette ACs, Ductable Units, Package Units, VRF/VRV Systems, and Chillers (basic knowledge preferred).
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration faults accurately and rectify them efficiently.
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance as per service schedules.
- Perform gas charging, leak detection, compressor replacement, brazing, pressure testing, and vacuuming.
- Read HVAC drawings and execute installation work as per project specifications.
- Supervise and guide junior technicians and helpers at project and service sites.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company quality standards.
- Coordinate with the Service Coordinator for daily job allocation and completion.
- Maintain service reports, inspection checklists, and job completion records.
- Attend emergency service calls and resolve customer complaints promptly.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and company assets.
- Maintain good customer relationships and represent the company professionally.
- Follow all safety procedures and comply with company policies.
Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
- HVAC certification will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in installation, servicing, and maintenance of HVAC systems.
- Experience in commercial HVAC projects and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and fault diagnosis skills.
- Knowledge of refrigeration cycle, electrical controls, and HVAC components.
- Experience with VRF/VRV systems, ductable units, AHUs, FCUs, and package units.
- Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and HVAC drawings.
- Good communication and customer handling skills.
- Leadership and team supervision abilities.
- Ability to work independently under minimum supervision.
Other Requirements
- Valid two-wheeler driving licence (preferred).
- Willingness to travel across Bangalore and nearby project locations.
- Ability to work beyond normal working hours during emergency breakdowns, if required.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
