About the Role
We are hiring a hands-on Associate Manager / Sales Team Lead – Inbound SaaS to drive revenue outcomes and scale a high-performing inbound sales division.
In this leadership role, you will manage a team of Business Consultants handling high-intent inbound leads while actively contributing to deal strategy, pipeline health, and final contract closures. You will completely own monthly recurring revenue (MRR) targets, drive conversion efficiency across the sales funnel, and foster a team culture built on accountability, speed, and consistent performance.

What You’ll Own (Key Responsibilities)
- Revenue & Funnel Ownership: Take full accountability for delivering monthly MRR and closure targets for the team. Optimize conversions across key funnel stages (Lead → Connect → Demo → Closure) while ensuring an inbound lead response Turnaround Time (TAT) of <15 minutes.
- Team Leadership & Execution: Lead daily stand-ups, pipeline reviews, and deal strategy discussions. Actively shadow, support, and coach reps during the negotiation and closure of high-value deals.
- Forecasting & CRM Excellence: Maintain highly accurate weekly and monthly team revenue forecasts. Drive strict pipeline visibility and reinforce clean CRM hygiene.
- Coaching & Capability Building: Conduct weekly call reviews, role-plays, and structured feedback sessions. Target individual performance gaps and partner with L&D to improve pitch scripts, objection handling, and product demos.
Product & Sales Context
- Category: AI-powered SaaS / Cloud Communication Platform / CPaaS.
- Solutions: Includes WhatsApp Business API, Voice/IVR setups, and communication automation workflows.
- Sales Style: Consultative solution selling involving basic level discussions around software integrations and APIs.
Who Should Apply (Requirements)
- Experience: 4–8 years of professional experience in B2B Inside Sales or SaaS Sales.
- People Management: A minimum of 2 years of direct team handling experience with clear revenue quota ownership.
- Sales Velocity: Proven track record of achieving monthly revenue targets in an inbound environment with short, high-velocity sales cycles (≤ 15 days).
- Tools & Analytics: Strong working knowledge of major CRM platforms (such as Zoho, Salesforce, or HubSpot) and absolute comfort working with performance dashboards and conversion data.
Strong Plus (Preferred)
- Experience in SaaS, Cloud Telephony, CPaaS, or Communication Technology sectors.
- Direct exposure to integration-led or API-based product conversations.
- Experience scaling inside sales teams in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
Who is NOT a Fit
- Candidates coming primarily from B2C, retail, insurance, or on-ground field sales backgrounds.
- Experience limited strictly to portfolio account management without direct closure and new business quota ownership.
- Exposure limited only to long, relationship-driven enterprise sales cycles (3–6 months+).
- Individual Contributors (ICs) without prior people management or team leadership experience.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
