Job Summary
Eastencher Software Private Limited, a product-based technology company, is looking for a skilled and passionate Android Developer with 1+ years of experience in building high-performance mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Kotlin/Java and modern Android development practices, and be willing to work from our Bangalore office.
Roles & Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable Android applications for our products
Collaborate with internal product, design, and backend teams to deliver new features
Work with REST APIs and integrate third-party libraries/services
Ensure application performance, quality, responsiveness, and security
Debug and resolve technical issues to enhance product stability
Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards
Stay updated with the latest Android development trends and technologies
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
1+ years of experience in Android application development
Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java
Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, Gradle
Good understanding of Android UI/UX principles and Material Design
Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and JSON parsing
Familiarity with architecture patterns such as:
MVVM
MVP
Jetpack Components (Preferred)
LiveData
ViewModel
Room Database
Navigation Component
Tools & Technologies
Version control systems like Git
Experience with Firebase (Crashlytics, Analytics, Push Notifications) is a plus
Understanding of Play Store deployment and release process
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)
Experience with Dependency Injection frameworks like Dagger/Hilt
Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso)
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environment
