A leading car leasing/ mobiltiy solutions organization is looking for an experienced Fleet Maintenance Manager.
The person would be responsible for ensuring the maximum uptime, reliability, regulatory compliance and cost-effective quality maintenance of the rental & mobility vehicle fleet at the branch. The role involves supporting the fleet operations by managing preventive and corrective maintenance, vendor coordination, vehicle compliance and documentation, cost control, and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities:
Fleet Maintenance & Operations
- Plan & execute preventive and corrective maintenance for all vehicles (self- & chauffeur driven), at the branch.
- Ensure high fleet availability to meet rental demand and utilization targets.
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections and ensure roadworthiness.
- Manage breakdowns, accident repairs, and emergency maintenance efficiently.
Vendor & Workshop Management:
- Manage relationships with authorized service centers, local garages, tyre vendors, battery suppliers, and body shops.
- Negotiate service rates and turnaround times to optimize maintenance costs.
- Monitor vendor performance against SLAs for quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
Cost Control & Budgeting:
- Track and control maintenance expenses, spare parts usage, and labour costs.
- Prepare branch-level maintenance MIS and cost reports.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety or compliance.
Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (fitness certificates, insurance, PUC, permits, service records).
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service histories, and warranty records.
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs and safety standards.
Reporting & Coordination:
- Prepare regular MIS reports on fleet, downtime, maintenance costs, and incidents.
- Coordinate with operations, head office, accounts, insurance and other teams for vehicle availability, approvals, vendor payments & damage repair claims
- Escalate recurring technical issues and recommend long-term solutions.

Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent (preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience in passenger car fleet maintenance, preferably in rental, leasing, logistics, or corporate fleet operations.
- Strong exposure to high-utilization passenger vehicles (petrol, diesel, CNG, EV & hybrid).
Skills & Competencies

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
