WAITER – JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Waiter / Service Associate
Department: Food & Beverage Service
Job Summary: We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Waiter to provide excellent service to guests. The candidate will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome and seat guests professionally.
Present menus and explain food and beverage items.
Take accurate food and drink orders.
Serve food and beverages promptly.
Check on guests during their meal and handle requests.
Clear and reset tables after guests leave.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for smooth service.
Process bills and collect payments when required.
Follow restaurant policies and safety procedures.
Requirements:
Previous restaurant/hotel experience preferred.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Positive attitude and teamwork spirit.
Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
Well-groomed appearance.
