Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to manage end-to-end Activities, vendor relationships, material sourcing, price negotiations, and timely material availability. FMCG industry experience is highly preferred, while professional experience in Marketing/Sales will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily purchase activities.
- Identify and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Source materials based on quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and process purchase orders.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely material availability.
- Coordinate with suppliers, stores, accounts, production, and other teams.
- Monitor market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and evaluate supplier performance.
- Prepare purchase reports and maintain procurement documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in FMCG Industry.
- FMCG industry experience is highly preferred.
- Professional experience in Marketing/Sales will be an added advantage.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Good knowledge of market sourcing.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/Tally.
- Strong communication and decision-making skills.
Pay: ₹32,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
