Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Bending Machine Operator to set up and operate bending machines to shape metal sheets, pipes, or components according to technical drawings and production requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate bending machines (Press Brake / CNC Bending Machine).
Read and interpret engineering drawings and work orders.
Adjust machine settings such as pressure, speed, and angle as per specifications.
Perform trial runs and inspect first-off components for accuracy.
Measure finished products using vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.
Ensure production targets are met within quality standards.
Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
Follow safety procedures and company policies.
Report any machine malfunction or quality issues to the supervisor.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or related field.
2–5 years of experience in sheet metal bending or fabrication industry.
Knowledge of CNC/Press Brake operations.
Ability to read technical drawings.
Basic knowledge of measuring instruments.
Good understanding of safety standards.
Ability to work in shifts.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in heavy fabrication or automotive industry.
Knowledge of different metal materials (MS, SS, Aluminium).
Basic computer knowledge for CNC operations.
