Job Summary
Hotel Prayana is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Trainee to support the Accounts & Finance Department in day-to-day financial operations. The candidate will gain practical experience in hotel accounting, taxation, bookkeeping, statutory compliance, payroll support, vendor payments and financial reporting.
Candidates with prior experience in a Tax Consultancy Firm will be given preference. Fresh graduates who are eager to build a career in accounting and finance are also encouraged to apply.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting Operations
- Assist in maintaining books of accounts and accounting records.
- Record daily financial transactions accurately in accounting software.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Verify invoices, bills, vouchers and supporting documents.
- Assist in bank reconciliation and cash management activities.
- Maintain proper filing of financial records and documents.
Hotel Accounts Support
- Verify daily revenue reports from hotel operations.
- Assist in monitoring room revenue, restaurant revenue and other departmental collections.
- Reconcile POS, cash, card and online payment transactions.
- Support inventory and stock verification exercises.
- Assist in payroll processing and employee reimbursement documentation.
Reporting & Administration
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly financial reports.
- Generate MIS reports as directed by management.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by the management.
Qualifications
- B.Com, M.Com, BBA (Finance), MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
- Freshers may apply.
- Candidates with experience in a Tax Consultancy Firm, Chartered Accountant Office, GST/TDS filing or accounting practice will be preferred.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and taxation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office applications.
- Knowledge of Tally, Zoho Books or similar accounting software will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per hour
