Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant with 3–4 years of experience to manage day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial reporting for Fresh Aisle Café. The role requires hands-on expertise in GST, TDS, and overall financial discipline to ensure smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate books of accounts (sales, purchases, expenses, journal entries)
- Handle daily accounting entries and ledger management
- Perform bank reconciliations and cash flow tracking
Statutory Compliance
- Manage GST filings (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) and ensure timely compliance
- Handle TDS calculation, deduction, and return filing
- Ensure adherence to statutory deadlines and regulatory requirements
Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, expense reports, MIS)
- Track costs, margins, and variances relevant to café operations
- Support management with financial insights and data
Vendor & Billing Management
- Process vendor invoices and payments
- Maintain proper billing records and documentation
- Coordinate with vendors for reconciliations and issue resolution
Cash & Expense Control
- Monitor daily cash transactions and petty cash
- Ensure expense control and proper approvals
- Identify areas of cost optimization
Key Requirements
- 3–4 years of experience in accounting roles
- Strong working knowledge of GST and TDS compliance
- Proficiency in Tally / accounting software and MS Excel
- Good understanding of financial reporting and reconciliations
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
