Job Description: Senior Technical Lead – MERN Stack & AI Engineering
We are seeking a visionary Senior Technical Lead with 7+ years of experience to spearhead our development team. In this role, you will build scalable web applications using the MERN stack while integrating advanced Large Language Models (LLMs) into our development lifecycle and product architecture.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Architecture
- Design scalable, secure, and robust full-stack web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js.
- Architect API integrations and microservices optimized for performance and minimal latency.
- Establish coding standards, conduct rigorous code reviews, and mentor junior engineers.
AI Lifecycle Integration
- Implement LLM tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Amazon Q) to accelerate the development lifecycle.
- Build, fine-tune, and deploy AI-driven features using OpenAI API, Anthropic, or open-source models.
- Leverage frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex to orchestrate complex AI workflows and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
Deployment & DevOps Pipeline
- Manage containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines incorporating AI-assisted automated testing and vulnerability scanning.
- Oversee cloud infrastructure hosting (AWS, GCP, or Azure) with a focus on cost-efficient LLM inference.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Core Full-Stack Expertise
- Frontend: Advanced React.js, Next.js, Redux, Tailwind CSS, TypeScript.
- Backend: Node.js, Express.js, RESTful APIs, WebSockets, GraphQL.
- Databases: MongoDB (Aggregation pipelines, indexing), Redis, and relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
AI & LLM Proficiency
- Prompt Engineering: Mastery in optimizing system prompts and contextual window management.
- Frameworks: Hands-on experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Vector Databases (Pinecone, Milvus, Chroma).
- AI Tooling: Proven track record of increasing team velocity using AI code assistants.
Experience & Software Engineering Practices
- 7+ years in professional software development.
- 2+ years leading engineering teams or technical projects.
- Deep understanding of Git, Agile methodologies, and system design patterns.
