About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Commis Chef to assist in food preparation and kitchen operations. The candidate will support senior chefs in maintaining food quality, hygiene standards, and smooth kitchen functioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Chef de Partie and senior chefs in daily food preparation.
- Prepare ingredients including cutting, chopping, marinating, and portioning.
- Cook and present dishes as per standard recipes and guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen workstations.
- Ensure proper storage of food items and ingredients.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to senior chefs.
- Minimize food wastage and maintain cost-effective kitchen operations.
- Handle kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Support the kitchen team during peak hours and busy operations.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.

Qualifications
- Diploma/Certificate in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or relevant field preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a restaurant, hotel, café, cloud kitchen, or QSR.
