The Steward in a Restro Pub is responsible for providing excellent food and beverage service to guests, maintaining cleanliness, ensuring smooth table service, and supporting the restaurant team to deliver a high-quality guest experience. The role requires good communication, teamwork, and a customer-focused attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner
- Assist guests in seating and provide menu details
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Serve food and drinks as per service standards
- Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and organized
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in dining and service areas
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar for timely service
- Clear used plates, glasses, and cutlery from tables
- Follow grooming and uniform standards
- Handle guest requests and complaints professionally
- Support team during busy hours and events
- Follow company SOPs and safety guidelines
Skills & Requirements
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service
- Good communication skills (Tamil & basic English & Hindi preferred)
- Customer service attitude
- Ability to work in shifts (including night shifts)
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Physically fit and active
- Basic understanding of hygiene and cleanliness
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
