Job Title: Music Video Editor

We are looking for a creative and talented Music Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of music video editing, storytelling, rhythm, visual effects, and current trends in the music and entertainment industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit high-quality music videos, promotional videos, reels, and short-form content.
- Synchronize video footage with music, beats, lyrics, and audio.
- Create engaging visual storytelling with smooth transitions and creative effects.
- Work closely with directors, artists, cinematographers, and the creative team.
- Perform colour correction and basic colour grading to enhance video quality.
- Add transitions, visual effects, motion graphics, text, subtitles, and other creative elements when required.
- Select and arrange the best shots from raw footage.
- Ensure videos are delivered within agreed timelines and project deadlines.
- Make revisions and changes based on feedback from the creative team or clients.
- Stay updated with the latest music video editing styles, social media trends, and editing techniques.
- Organize and maintain video files, project folders, and backups.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in music video editing, film editing, or video production.
- Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
- Strong understanding of video formats, frame rates, resolutions, and export settings.
- Knowledge of colour grading, sound synchronization, transitions, and visual effects.
- Creative mindset with a strong sense of rhythm and storytelling.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a production team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- A strong portfolio of previous music videos or creative video projects is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time / Freelance
Location: Mohali, Punjab
Experience: Relevant experience in music video or professional video editing preferred.
