We are looking for an experienced Design Coordinator to lead and coordinate all engineering and design activities for the TBCB Project – Establishment of 400/220/132 kV AIS Substation at Sakoli, Maharashtra. The role involves managing multidisciplinary engineering interfaces, ensuring timely approvals, supporting construction activities, and delivering AFC/IFC drawings in compliance with applicable standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Engineering Coordination
- Coordinate engineering activities from project initiation through AFC/IFC drawing issuance.
- Review and manage vendor drawings, civil drawings, and electrical drawings.
- Coordinate engineering activities related to Protection Systems, SAS, PLCC, SCADA, and Telecom.
- Ensure engineering deliverables are completed as per project schedules and quality requirements.
Design & Approval Management
- Coordinate design submissions and obtain approvals from the Client and Consultant.
- Track engineering deliverables and ensure timely closure of review comments.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Interface with Civil, Structural, Electrical, Protection, Telecom, and other engineering disciplines.
- Coordinate with procurement, construction, and commissioning teams for seamless project execution.
- Resolve interdisciplinary engineering issues and maintain design consistency.
Construction Support
- Provide technical support to the site team during construction.
- Respond to site engineering queries within agreed timelines.
- Coordinate design revisions, engineering change notes, and preparation of As-Built Drawings.
Compliance
Ensure designs comply with:
- IS Standards
- IEC Standards
- CEA Regulations
- CBIP Guidelines
- MSETCL Specifications
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Timely submission of AFC/IFC engineering deliverables.
- Design approval cycle time.
- Reduction in engineering/design errors.
- Timely resolution of site engineering queries.
