Requirement – Talented and Experienced Chef for the Hostel Mess
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and supervision of hygienic, nutritious, and balanced meals for students and staff.
- Planning daily/weekly menus in coordination with hostel administration.
- Maintaining cleanliness, food safety standards, and kitchen discipline.
- Managing kitchen staff and ensuring timely food service.
- Monitoring quality and quantity of raw materials and cooked food.
- Ensuring proper storage and wastage control.
- Maintaining records related to kitchen inventory and food consumption.
Desired Qualification & Skills:
- Experience in institutional/hostel/school mess management.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety standards.
- Ability to manage large-scale meal preparation efficiently.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Discipline, punctuality, and professional conduct.
Preference:
- Candidates having prior experience in residential schools/hostels will be preferred.
