Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Service Engineer who will lead regional service operations for EV 2-w 3-w & 4-w, ensuring high fleet uptime, efficient service delivery, and adherence to SLAs. The role involves on-field work - supervising technicians, managing vendors and workshops, and collaborating with OEMs and internal teams to enhance service quality, minimize downtime, and optimize costs.
Key Responsibilities
Fleet Operations & Uptime
● Lead EV fleet service operations, ensuring 90%+ uptime through proactive diagnostics,
issue resolution, and SLA adherence.
● Conduct preventive maintenance and technical diagnostics to minimize breakdowns and vehicle downtime.
● Monitor and maintain PMS (Preventive Maintenance Schedules), repair logs, and compliance documentation.
Team & Vendor Management
● Supervise and guide service technicians, ensuring adherence to SOPs and service
checklists.
● Coordinate with local garages, workshops, and vendor partners to improve service efficiency and turnaround time (TAT).
● Implement training and best practices to improve service consistency and quality.
Inventory & Procurement
● Plan and manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability and reduce downtime.
● Identify alternate vendors and procurement channels to optimize cost and ensure timely parts supply.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
● Work closely with OEMs, finance teams, and internal stakeholders to align service KPIs with business objectives.
● Support warranty and insurance claim processing by coordinating with OEMs, collecting
technical evidence, and ensuring documentation accuracy.
● Drive warranty recovery and cost control initiatives for service operations.
Process & Compliance
● Implement service SOPs, preventive maintenance checklists, and safety standards across
teams and vendor workshops.
● Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality audits.
● Continuously improve service processes to enhance fleet uptime, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
Key Skills & Competencies
● Strong technical expertise in EV 2W & 3W systems (powertrain, battery, electrical &
mechanical systems).
● Proven ability to lead service operations with focus on uptime, SLA compliance, and cost
control.
● Hands-on experience in diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repair of EV fleets.
● Vendor management and negotiation skills for spare parts and workshop operations.
● Strong team leadership, coordination, and training skills.
● Proficiency in documentation, service reporting, and compliance management.
● Familiarity with Vehicle PDI , warranty and insurance processes in the automotive/EV sector.
Qualifications & Experience
● Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical or Automobile Engineering.
● 6+ years of experience in service operations, with at least 3 years in EV 2W/3W industry.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
