Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (BA) to join an Agile Scrum team responsible for developing a web-based Loan Scheduler Application. The application will support the complete loan lifecycle, from loan contract creation and disbursement through repayment, restructuring, settlement, and final closure. The platform will manage multiple loan products and provide intuitive user interfaces for capturing loan details, maintaining loan records, and generating accurate loan repayment schedules.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in loan and financial services domains, along with proven experience in UI/UX analysis and design, requirements management, and Agile delivery practices.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Product Owners, business stakeholders, architects, developers, QA teams, and end users to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Elicit, document, and manage functional and non-functional requirements through user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and wireframes.
- Participate actively in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Define business rules and workflows for various loan products specially covering commercial & industrial loans.
- Analyze and document requirements related to loan origination, amortization schedules, interest calculations, repayments, prepayments, refinancing, restructuring, delinquency handling, and loan closure.
- Create user journey maps, screen flows, mockups, and UI specifications to ensure intuitive and efficient user experiences.
- Work closely with UX/UI designers to validate usability, accessibility, navigation, and responsive design requirements.
- Translate complex business requirements into clear functional specifications for development teams.
- Support API, data integration, reporting, and workflow requirements across the loan management ecosystem.
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), clarify business requirements, and validate delivered functionality against business expectations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable lending policies, business rules, and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end loan lifecycle and loan servicing processes.
- Hands-on experience with loan calculation methodologies, amortization schedules, interest accruals, repayment structures, and financial products.
- Strong expertise in requirements elicitation, business process modeling, workflow analysis, and documentation.
- Proven experience working in Agile Scrum environments with user stories, product backlogs, and acceptance criteria.
- Strong UI/UX analysis skills with experience using tools such as Figma, Axure, Adobe XD, or Balsamiq.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and other Agile collaboration tools.
