We are hiring a motivated and hardworking Assistant Chef to support daily kitchen operations across all menu items. This role is ideal for freshers or individuals with basic kitchen experience who are eager to learn professional culinary standards and grow within the food industry.
Key ResponsibilitiesFood Preparation & Cooking
- Monitor in preparing all food items on the menu, including shawarma, grills, sandwiches, snacks, beverages, and sides
- Follow standard recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines
Quality & Hygiene
- Follow proper food handling practices and FSSAI-based hygiene guidelines
- Ensure cleanliness, sanitization, and organization of workstations
- Monitor food quality including taste, freshness, consistency, and temperature
Operational Support
- Support and Supervisor during peak hours
- Ensure smooth KOT management and timely order execution
- Assist in inventory checks, portioning, and material rotation
- Help with plating, packaging, and order dispatch
- Maintain low wastage and high kitchen discipline
- Train junior kitchen staff and maintain productivity
- Handle rush hours and ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Fresher or up to 1 year of experience in a kitchen
- Basic interest or understanding of cooking and food handling
- Willing to follow instructions, SOPs, and structured workflow
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen
- Good communication and punctuality
