Job Description: Maintenance Executive
Education & Experience
- Must Have:
- ITI Fitter qualification
- Minimum 3 years of experience in machine maintenance
- Good to Have:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- 5 years of experience in CNC machine maintenance
Essential Responsibilities
- Preventive Maintenance
- Perform scheduled checks, lubrication, coolant tank cleaning, and adjustments as per manufacturer guidelines
- Ensure inspections, timely repairs, and preventative measures to minimize breakdowns
- Troubleshooting & Repair
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, electronic (servo systems), hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
- Apply strong technical knowledge to resolve system faults efficiently
- Component Replacement
- Dismantle and install new or repaired parts, sub-assemblies, and components
- Use problem-solving and critical thinking skills for accurate diagnostics
- Installation & Setup
- Assist in installing new machines, leveling, aligning, and ensuring proper functionality before production
- Basic knowledge of CNC programming and machine operation is desirable
- Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, parts usage, and breakdown history
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints
- Safety Compliance
- Adhere to all safety protocols and conduct regular inspections of work areas
- Demonstrate attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to work independently
Key Skills
- Preventive & corrective maintenance of CNC Turning & Milling machines
- Strong troubleshooting ability across mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Documentation and reporting accuracy
- Safety-conscious mindset with independent working capability
