Title: Consultant – CAD & Simulation Engineer (Aerospace / Mechanical / Electrical)
Employment Type: Contract (Consultant Assignment)
Work Mode: Remote
Shift Timing: 8:30 PM – 12:30 AM IST (Minimum 4-hour overlap with Pacific Time)
Work Commitment:
- Full-Time – 40 hours/week
- Part-Time – 30 hours/week
Eligible Locations: Candidates currently residing in India, Mexico, Bangladesh, Brazil, Colombia, and Egypt are eligible to apply.
Experience: 10+ Years (Mandatory)
Project Duration: 8 Weeks (2 Months)
Compensation: USD 25/hour

Role Overview:
We are seeking highly experienced CAD & Simulation Engineers specializing in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering to support an AI-focused engineering project.
This opportunity is ideal for professionals with deep expertise in CAD modeling, engineering simulations, and product design using industry-standard tools such as CATIA, SolidWorks, ANSYS, MATLAB, OpenFOAM, and other CAD/CAE platforms. The role involves developing, validating, and optimizing engineering models while collaborating with global engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality CAD models for engineering applications.
- Perform engineering simulations and analysis for aerospace, mechanical, or electrical systems.
- Build and validate simulation workflows using industry-standard software such as CATIA, SolidWorks, ANSYS, MATLAB, and OpenFOAM.
- Translate engineering requirements into simulation models.
- Optimize designs based on simulation outcomes.
- Document engineering methodologies and technical findings.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in CAD engineering and simulation-focused organizations.
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong understanding of engineering design principles.
- Hands-on experience with CAD modeling, CAE, and simulation projects.
- Proficiency in one or more industry-standard engineering tools, including CATIA, SolidWorks, ANSYS, MATLAB, OpenFOAM, or equivalent CAD and simulation platforms.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PhD in Aerospace Engineering (Highly Preferred).
- Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
- Prior experience with leading aerospace or engineering companies such as Honeywell, Boeing, Airbus, Collins Aerospace, GE Aerospace, Safran, HAL, ISRO, or similar organizations is highly desirable.
- Experience with domain-specific engineering tools is an added advantage:
- Mechanical: FreeCAD, CalculiX, Gmsh, ParaView, Python, Cura/PrusaSlicer
- Electrical: KiCad, ngspice, Qucs-S, Python, Octave, FEMM, openEMS
- Aerospace: OpenRocket, OpenVSP, XFoil, AVL, OpenFOAM/SU2, FreeCAD, Python
