About the Role
A Multi-Speciality Hospital is seeking an experienced and dedicated Cardiac Scrub Nurse / Cardiac OT Staff to join its surgical services team. The ideal candidate will have experience assisting in cardiac procedures and maintaining a sterile operating theatre environment while supporting surgeons, anaesthetists, and the cardiac surgery team.
Candidates with experience in Cardiac OT, Cath Lab, Cardiovascular Surgery, Interventional Cardiology, or Critical Care will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist cardiac surgeons and cardiologists during surgical and interventional procedures.
- Prepare and arrange cardiac surgical instruments, implants, consumables, and equipment.
- Maintain strict aseptic and infection control standards within the OT.
- Perform scrubbing duties during cardiac surgeries and related procedures.
- Ensure proper counting and handling of surgical instruments and materials.
- Assist in patient preparation before surgery.
- Coordinate with CSSD and OT teams regarding instrument sterilization and availability.
- Monitor and maintain cardiac OT equipment.
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to hospital protocols.
Eligibility Criteria/Education
- GNM / B.Sc. Nursing
- OR
- Diploma / Degree in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT)Registration
- Valid Nursing Council Registration (for nursing candidates)
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of Operation Theatre experience.
- At least 1 year of exposure to Cardiac OT, Cath Lab, Cardiovascular Surgery, or Interventional Cardiology preferred.
- Experience in NABH-accredited hospitals will be an advantage.

- Multi-Speciality Hospitals
will be given preference.
