Job Summary:
The Production Incharge is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising daily production activities to ensure the timely manufacturing of products while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards. The role involves manpower management, process monitoring, and achieving production targets with optimum resource utilization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute daily production schedules to meet business requirements.
- Monitor production processes and ensure adherence to SOPs.
- Ensure achievement of production targets with minimum wastage.
- Supervise production operators and shop-floor manpower.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams for smooth operations.
- Monitor machine utilization and production efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, Food Safety, and company quality standards.
- Maintain production records, reports, and batch manufacturing documents.
- Identify process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Ensure workplace safety, housekeeping, and adherence to EHS guidelines.
- Monitor raw material consumption and control production losses.
- Conduct training and performance monitoring of production staff.
Qualifications:
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Food Technology, Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 4–8 years of experience in FMCG/Food Manufacturing operations.
