Job Summary
The Marketing Executive is responsible for promoting the hospital's healthcare services, increasing patient footfall, strengthening the hospital's brand image, developing relationships with referring doctors and corporate clients, and implementing marketing strategies to achieve business growth. The role requires regular field visits, coordination with internal departments, and execution of promotional activities while ensuring compliance with healthcare ethics and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Promote the hospital's clinical services to doctors, clinics, diagnostic centers, industries, corporates, NGOs, educational institutions, and government organizations.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase patient referrals.
- Build and maintain relationships with referring physicians and healthcare professionals.
- Generate leads for health packages, diagnostic services, specialty consultations, and surgical procedures.
- Achieve monthly and annual business development targets.
Marketing & Brand Promotion
- Execute marketing campaigns across online and offline platforms.
- Organize health camps, awareness programs, CME (Continuing Medical Education) events, and community outreach activities.
- Coordinate promotional events, exhibitions, and public health awareness initiatives.
- Distribute brochures, promotional materials, and service information to target audiences.
- Promote new departments, consultants, and healthcare services.
Corporate Relations
- Develop relationships with corporate organizations for employee health check-up programs.
- Coordinate corporate tie-ups, insurance companies, TPAs, and institutional clients.
- Follow up on corporate proposals, agreements, and service delivery.
- Maintain excellent relationships with existing corporate clients.
Digital Marketing Support
- Coordinate with digital marketing agencies or internal teams.
- Assist in managing social media campaigns and website content.
- Support online branding initiatives and digital advertisements.
- Monitor online reviews and patient feedback.
Patient Relationship & Referral Management
- Maintain strong relationships with patients and referral sources.
- Address marketing-related patient concerns promptly.
- Coordinate with the Patient Relations Department to improve patient satisfaction.
- Monitor referral trends and prepare action plans.
Market Research
- Conduct competitor analysis and monitor healthcare market trends.
- Collect feedback from patients, doctors, and corporate clients.
- Identify opportunities for service improvement.
- Prepare market intelligence reports.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain records of daily field visits and client interactions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly marketing reports.
- Submit lead conversion reports and business development updates.
- Maintain databases of doctors, corporates, institutions, and referral sources.
Coordination
- Coordinate with Medical, Nursing, Diagnostics, Billing, HR, and Administration departments for successful execution of marketing initiatives.
- Assist management during accreditation visits, exhibitions, and promotional events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field.
- MBA in Marketing or Hospital Administration is preferred.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in hospital, healthcare, pharmaceutical, diagnostics, or healthcare marketing.
- Experience in hospital business development and corporate marketing is preferred.
