We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused Café Assistant to support the daily operations of the café. The candidate will assist in food and beverage service, counter operations, table maintenance, cleaning, and customer support to ensure smooth and efficient café operations.
This role is ideal for candidates who are willing to learn and grow in the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities :
Service & Customer Support
- Assist guests with seating and basic service
- Serve food and beverages to customers
- Clear and reset tables promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of dining and service areas
- Support takeaway and parcel packing operations
Counter & Billing Support
- Assist in handling customer orders
- Support billing and POS operations when required
- Coordinate with kitchen and beverage sections for order flow
Operational Support
- Refill service stations, cutlery, tissues, and condiments
- Assist during peak operational hours
- Help in stock movement and basic inventory handling
- Follow hygiene and food safety standards at all times
Team Coordination
- Coordinate with kitchen, barista, and service staff
- Support supervisors in daily café activities
- Follow shift duties and operational instructions
Required Skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of customer service
- Team player with multitasking ability
Qualification
- High school / Plus Two or equivalent
- Hospitality training is an added advantage
Experience
- Fresher to 1 year experience in café, restaurant, QSR, or hospitality service preferred

- Neat grooming and professional appearance
- Punctual and disciplined
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Basic English communication preferred
