We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler with expertise in Enterprise Data Modeling, Databricks Delta Lake, Oracle Cloud Migration, Unity Catalog, Delta Sharing, Microsoft Purview, Informatica, dbt, and Data Governance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable conceptual, logical, and physical data models, leading Oracle modernization initiatives, implementing enterprise data governance frameworks, and building AI-ready cloud data platforms.
The successful candidate will collaborate with Data Architects, Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and Analytics teams to deliver high-quality enterprise data solutions while ensuring data consistency, governance, metadata management, security, and regulatory compliance.
Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesData Modeling & Architecture
- Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical enterprise data models.
- Create scalable dimensional, relational, normalized, and denormalized data models for analytics and reporting.
- Develop data modeling standards, naming conventions, and modeling best practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into enterprise data models.
- Define relationships, entities, attributes, hierarchies, keys, and constraints for enterprise datasets.
- Support enterprise master data management (MDM) and reference data initiatives.
Databricks & Lakehouse Architecture
- Design scalable Lakehouse architectures using Databricks Delta Lake.
- Implement Delta Lake best practices including schema evolution, partitioning, optimization, and ACID transactions.
- Build enterprise metadata structures using Unity Catalog.
- Enable secure enterprise-wide data collaboration through Delta Sharing.
- Support AI and analytics initiatives by developing optimized semantic data models.
Oracle Cloud Migration
- Lead Oracle database modernization and migration initiatives.
- Analyze legacy Oracle schemas and redesign them for cloud-native architectures.
- Define migration strategies for Oracle to Databricks Delta Lake and cloud platforms.
- Validate migrated data models and ensure data integrity during migration.
Metadata & Data Governance
- Implement enterprise metadata management using Microsoft Purview.
- Develop business glossaries, metadata repositories, and data lineage documentation.
- Define enterprise data governance standards, policies, and stewardship processes.
- Collaborate with compliance teams to implement governance frameworks aligned with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure data security, classification, retention, and lifecycle management.
Data Integration & Transformation
- Design metadata-driven transformation frameworks using Informatica and dbt.
- Develop reusable transformation models and enterprise data pipelines.
- Standardize ETL/ELT data modeling practices.
- Optimize enterprise data flows for performance and scalability.
Collaboration & Leadership
- Partner with Data Architects, Engineers, BI Developers, and Product Owners.
- Conduct design reviews and ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards.
- Mentor junior data professionals on data modeling best practices.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, standards, and governance processes.

- Strong experience with Databricks Delta Lake and Lakehouse Architecture.
- Experience leading Oracle Cloud Migration projects.
- Hands-on expertise with Unity Catalog, Delta Sharing, Microsoft Purview, Informatica, and dbt.
- Experience implementing enterprise Data Governance and Metadata Management solutions.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native data architecture and modern analytics platforms.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
