The Lead – Programs & Events will be responsible for planning, designing, executing, and evaluating programs and events that align with the organisation’s mission and objectives. This role demands strong leadership, organisational, and stakeholder management skills to ensure impactful program delivery and seamless event execution.
- Program Management:
- Conceptualise, design, and lead strategic programs aligned with organisational goals.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely execution.
- Monitor program performance, prepare reports, and recommend improvements.
- Identify opportunities for new initiatives, partnerships, and collaborations.
- Event Management:
- Plan, organise, and execute large-scale conferences, workshops, exhibitions, and outreach events.
- Manage event logistics including budgeting, vendor management, scheduling, and on-ground execution.
- Oversee creative development of event collaterals, branding, and communications.
- Ensure a positive participant experience and smooth operational flow.
- Stakeholder & Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with partners, sponsors, collaborators, and key stakeholders.
- Represent the organisation at industry events, forums, and networking platforms.
- Ensure alignment of events and programs with stakeholder expectations.
- Team Leadership & Coordination:
- Lead, mentor, and guide the events and programs team to achieve desired outcomes.
- Coordinate with cross-functional departments (marketing, communications, operations, finance, etc.) for seamless execution.
- Monitoring & Reporting:
- Track KPIs and measure the effectiveness of programs and events.
- Prepare post-event/program reports and provide insights for future planning.
- Other Duties:
- Any other responsibilities or tasks as may be assigned by the management from time to time.
- Proven expertise in program planning, stakeholder engagement, and event execution.
- Strong leadership, project management, and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
3 to 5 years of experience in managing programs and large-scale events.
Experience of working in an incubation centre is preferred.
