Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Accountant with a minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably in the hospital or healthcare sector. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, handling hospital-related accounting transactions, preparing reports, managing receivables/payables, and supporting statutory and financial compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
- Handle hospital billing, receipts, payments, refunds, and revenue reconciliation.
- Reconcile cash, bank, credit/debit card, UPI, insurance, and corporate patient collections.
- Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable and follow up on outstanding amounts.
- Coordinate with billing, insurance/TPA, pharmacy, laboratory, and other hospital departments.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
- Maintain vendor accounts and process invoices and payments.
- Assist in preparation of monthly closing and financial statements.
- Verify expenses, purchase invoices, and supporting documents.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audit purposes.
- Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance and coordinate with consultants/auditors.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely correction.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a hospital/healthcare organization.
- Good knowledge of Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, and basic financial reporting.
- Understanding of hospital billing and insurance/TPA accounting will be an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial and patient-related information.
Preferred Candidate
- Experience working in a hospital, diagnostic center, healthcare group, or medical institution.
- Familiarity with hospital management/accounting software.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
