Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Data Collection & Management: Clean, transform, and model datasets from multiple source systems to ensure data integrity and optimization.
- Business Intelligence & Reporting: Design, develop, and maintain automated dashboards, KPI scorecards, and visual reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Excel.
- Quantitative Analysis: Perform exploratory data analysis, regression analysis, and predictive modeling to identify trends, correlations, and business opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, marketing, and operations teams to understand their data needs, define key business metrics, and provide analytical support.
- Data Governance: Assist in establishing and maintaining data documentation, data dictionaries, and standard operating procedures to ensure data quality and compliance.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of SQL (querying, joining, and data extraction) is strictly required.
- Data Visualization: Proven experience building interactive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation, analysis, and automation is highly preferred.
- Software Skills: Advanced Excel capabilities (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Index/Match, and macros).
- Analytical Mindset: Strong critical thinking skills with a proven track record of solving complex analytical problems and translating data into business insights.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data findings clearly to executive leadership.
Preferred Experience
- 1–3 years of professional experience in a data analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering role.
- Experience working with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, Google BigQuery, or AWS Redshift.
- Familiarity with predictive modeling, machine learning concepts, or statistical forecasting.
