Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and highly motivated Junior Architect to join our studio in Kalapatti. In this role, you will work directly with the principal architects to develop design concepts from initial sketches through to final presentations. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for landscape and architectural aesthetics, exceptional 3D visualization skills, and a genuine interest in learning how materials behave in real-world construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Conceptualization: Assist in the development of preliminary and final concept designs for architectural and landscape projects.
- 3D Modeling & Visualization: Build accurate 3D spatial models and produce high-quality, photorealistic renders and walkthroughs for client presentations.
- Drafting & Coordination: Support the drafting team by generating conceptual layouts and assisting in the transition from design to technical AutoCAD working drawings.
- Material Exploration: Help curate material boards and research specifications for project elements, including natural stones, WPC, and MS fabrications.
- Studio Support: Prepare professional presentation decks, organize project files, and occasionally accompany senior team members for site visits and client meetings.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch).
- Software Expertise: Strong proficiency in D5 Render (or equivalent high-end rendering software) and AutoCAD is mandatory. Experience with 3D modeling platforms (SketchUp, Rhino, or Revit) and Adobe Creative Suite is required.
- Design Sensibility: A strong portfolio demonstrating spatial awareness, rendering capabilities, and an understanding of composition and lighting.
- Attributes: Excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a strong desire to learn the practicalities of landscape architecture and structural detailing.
