About the Role :
Muks Robotics AI Pvt. Ltd. is looking for passionate and enthusiastic Robotics Intern who are eager to work on cutting-edge humanoid and autonomous robotic systems. This internship offers hands-on exposure to robotics software development, simulation, hardware integration, and real-world robot deployment while working alongside experienced engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and test robotics software using ROS/ROS2, Python, and C++.
- Participate in robot simulation using platforms such as Gazebo, Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, specializing in RL methods and Sim to Real transfer
- Develop and maintain robot models using URDF/Xacro for simulation and visualization.
- Design, develop and implement robust controllers for joint control.
- Work on robot kinematics, dynamics, perception, sensor integration, and state estimation.
- Support integration of sensors including LiDAR, cameras, IMUs, depth sensors, encoders, and GPS.
- Assist in configuring and testing ros2_control frameworks and hardware interfaces.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electronics, embedded, and AI teams for hardware-software integration.
- Perform debugging, testing, calibration, and validation of robotic systems in simulation and real-world environments.
- Analyze robot performance, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to continuous product improvements.
- Maintain clean, modular, and well-documented code following software engineering best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Knowledge of robotics fundamentals including kinematics, dynamics, control systems, and Deep Reinforcement learning
- Good programming knowledge in Python and/or C++.
- Basic understanding of ROS/ROS2 and robotic software development.
- Familiarity and understanding of current robot simulation environments such as Gazebo, Isaac Sim, and Mujoco.
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, or Serial Communication is a plus.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced startup environment.
Work Location: In person
