Job Summary
Pentium Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of residential and commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of experience in construction project management, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage project schedules, budgets, quality, and stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and execute construction projects from inception to completion.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and execution strategies.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Conduct regular site visits and review project performance.
- Identify project risks and implement corrective actions to minimize delays and cost overruns.
- Manage procurement activities and contractor performance.
- Prepare and present project status reports to management.
- Ensure timely project handover and closure documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in construction project management.
- Proven experience in residential, commercial, or mixed-use building projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project planning, and cost control.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with reputed construction or real estate companies.
- Knowledge of local building regulations and approval processes in Kerala.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is an advantage.
