Job Title: Spray Painter (Fabrication)
Job Summary:
The Spray Painter is responsible for preparing and applying protective and decorative coatings to fabricated steel components and structures. The role ensures that all painted products meet the required quality standards, specifications, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mix paints, primers, hardeners, and thinners according to the manufacturer's specifications.
- Apply primer, intermediate coats, and finish coats using spray painting equipment.
- Ensure the correct paint thickness and finish as per project specifications.
- Inspect painted surfaces for defects such as runs, pinholes, uneven coating, or missed areas, and carry out touch-ups when required.
- Operate and maintain spray painting equipment, air compressors, and related tools.
- Follow painting procedures, quality standards, and work instructions.
- Handle paints, chemicals, and solvents safely in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Coordinate with fabrication, blasting, and quality control teams to ensure timely completion of work.
- Report equipment malfunctions or quality issues to the supervisor.
- Comply with all company safety regulations
Qualifications:
- ITI or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in industrial or structural steel spray painting.
- Experience in fabrication, heavy engineering, or steel structure industries is an advantage.
- Knowledge of epoxy, polyurethane (PU), zinc-rich primers, and other industrial coating systems.
- Familiarity with paint thickness measurement instruments (DFT Gauge) is preferred.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
