About the company:
Our client is a next-generation, venture-backed consumer healthcare company based in Mumbai, reimagining how care is delivered in India through a patient-first, technology-led approach. They bring together clinical care, technology, and patient experience in one connected model, including a patient-facing app and dedicated care navigators, and take a holistic view of care that spans nutrition, mental well-being, sleep, and lifestyle.
They have earned real consumer trust and credibility in a sensitive, personal category, and are now in an active growth phase, expanding their clinic network across India.
Why does this role exist?
Most healthcare communication in India is clinical, transactional, and forgettable. The belief here is that in a personal and often emotional category, content is not decoration. It is how trust is built, how anxiety is eased, and how a brand earns the right to be part of someone's most important decisions.
The foundations already exist : a strong brand, a proven product, an engaged consumer base, and multiple channels to reach them. What is needed now is someone who can own the content voice end to end, and decide not just how to say things, but what is worth saying in the first place.
This is not a pure execution or copywriting role. It is for someone who thinks independently about what the brand should say, why it matters to the audience, and how that idea should travel across channels.
What you will own?
- Content strategy & planning: Own content calendars, pillars, campaigns, and topical ideas across consumer and brand channels, tailored to different stages of the patient journey.
- Content creation: Create clear, engaging, and empathetic content across social media, WhatsApp, community, patient communication, digital campaigns, and internal channels.
- Brand voice & consumer understanding: Maintain a consistent, premium brand voice while translating complex healthcare topics into accessible, audience-relevant communication.
- Trends & cultural relevance: Spot consumer trends, cultural conversations, social formats, and topical moments, and turn them into relevant content opportunities.
- End-to-end ownership: Work closely with marketing, leadership, clinical, and care teams, taking content from idea to execution, including occasional clinic visits to gather insights and understand the patient experience.
Who you are?
- 2 - 4 years of experience in content, brand, social media, or consumer marketing, ideally with a B2C/consumer brand.
- A strong writer and storyteller with sharp written and spoken English and a good understanding of social media, digital culture, and consumer behaviour.
- A content thinker, not just an executor, with experience independently building content calendars, pillars, campaigns, and content strategies.
- Healthcare, health-tech, wellness, beauty, personal care, fitness, or adjacent consumer experience is a strong advantage.
- Curious, detail-oriented, and ownership-driven, with the maturity to handle sensitive healthcare topics and multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
What this role is not:
This is not a role where someone hands you a brief and you simply write to it. It is not limited to social media alone. It is not for someone who waits to be told what to say, and it is not for someone who prefers running established systems over building them.
