Job Overview:
The role involves the installation, assembly, testing, repair, and periodic servicing of heavy lifting machinery, focusing specifically on material handling equipment like electric wire rope hoists, chain hoists, and electric overhead traveling (EOT) cranes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation: Set up electrical systems, 3-phase wiring, and necessary mechanical assemblies for hoists and cranes.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Conduct regular preventive maintenance and diagnose circuit faults to minimize machine downtime.
- Repair: Troubleshoot and replace faulty electrical parts, including motors, contactors, control panels, and limit switches, as well as mechanical parts like gearboxes and wire ropes.
- Testing: Carry out post-repair functional and load testing to certify safety regulations and hoist lifting capacity.
- Schematic Reading: Interpret electrical circuit blueprints and technical guides to execute precise repairs.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Education: ITI Certificate in Electrician or Wireman trade (mechanical with electrical exposure also considered).
- Technical Expertise: Strong practical command over hoist control circuits, pendant/remote operations, and 3-phase power distribution.
- Experience: Preferred 1–2 years of active maintenance experience specifically handling hoist and crane mechanisms.
- Safety Awareness: Absolute adherence to high-risk industrial safety norms, including working at heights and handling high-voltage panels
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
