Job Profile: Books Retail Manager
- Oversee daily operations of the bookstore and ensure smooth functioning
- Manage inventory, stock ordering, and coordination with publishers and suppliers
- Supervise, train, and motivate sales and support staff
- Ensure high standards of customer service and reader engagement
- Plan and execute sales promotions and attractive book displays
- Monitor sales performance and work towards achieving targets
- Handle billing, cash management, and basic accounts reporting
- Maintain store discipline and compliance with company policies
- Analyze sales trends to improve profitability and stock planning
- Promote a positive reading culture and brand image of the store
