Fish Market Salesperson
Location: Vanagaram, Chennai
Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹25,000 per month (based on experience)

Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused Salesperson to join our fish market business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, promoting and selling fish products, maintaining product displays, and ensuring a smooth shopping experience while supporting the daily operations of the shop and is also responsible for handling cash.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assist them in selecting fish and seafood products.
- Explain product quality, pricing, and availability to customers.
- Weigh, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the sales area.
- Replenish stock and ensure products are displayed neatly.
- Process cash and digital payments when required.
- Build good relationships with regular customers and provide excellent customer service.
- Assist in loading, unloading, and arranging stock as needed.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail, fish market, seafood, meat shop, or supermarket sales is preferred.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Honest, punctual, and hardworking.
- Physically fit.
- Willingness to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays if required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in fish or seafood sales.
- Basic knowledge of digital payments and billing.
- Ability to communicate in Tamil; knowledge of English or Hindi is an added advantage.
Compensation: ₹18,000 – ₹25,000 per month (based on experience) + performance incentives.
Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
