Job Summary
EncureIT Systems Pvt Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA
Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. The QA Tester will be responsible for
ensuring the quality, functionality, performance, and reliability of software
applications by designing, executing, and analyzing test cases.
The ideal candidate should have strong manual testing knowledge, basic automation
exposure, good defect reporting skills, and the ability to use AI-assisted tools in daily
QA activities such as test case creation, test data preparation, defect analysis,
documentation, and test execution reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Understand business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and
functional specifications.
Develop and execute test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
Perform manual and automated testing of web, mobile, and enterprise
applications.
Conduct functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, performance,
security, and user acceptance testing.
Identify, document, report, and track software defects using issue-tracking
tools.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, business analysts, and
stakeholders to resolve issues.
Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, daily stand-ups,
retrospectives, and test case review meetings.
Prepare test execution reports, defect summaries, test status reports, and QA
sign-off documentation.
Maintain and update testing environments, test data, and QA documentation.
Use AI-assisted tools to improve QA productivity, accuracy, and
documentation quality.
Validate AI-generated outputs before using them in official QA deliverables.
Follow company security and data privacy guidelines while using AI tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,
Engineering, or related field.
3–4 years of experience in software testing.
Strong experience in manual testing and basic exposure to automation
testing.
Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle and Defect Life Cycle.
Experience in writing clear, detailed, and structured test cases.
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA,
TestRail, QTest, ALM, or Azure DevOps.
Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress,
Playwright, or similar.
Basic knowledge of SQL queries for database validation.
Understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
AI-Enabled QA Skills
The candidate should have basic working knowledge of AI tools and should be able
to use them responsibly in day-to-day QA activities.
Expected AI Usage in QA
Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, or similar tools to
assist in writing test scenarios and test cases.
Generate positive, negative, boundary, edge-case, and regression test ideas
using AI.
Convert requirements, user stories, or acceptance criteria into structured test
cases with AI assistance.
Use AI to improve the clarity and quality of defect descriptions, reproduction
steps, and expected vs actual results.
Generate test data ideas for functional and regression testing.
Create test execution summaries, defect reports, QA status reports, and
release notes using AI support.
Use AI for exploratory testing ideas and risk-based testing suggestions.
Summarize lengthy requirements, meeting notes, or defect discussions into
actionable QA points.
Use AI to review test cases for missing scenarios, duplicate coverage, or
unclear steps.
Assist in writing basic automation logic, locators, assertions, or test scripts
with AI guidance.
Responsible AI Usage
Ability to verify and validate AI-generated test cases before execution.
Understanding that AI output should be reviewed, corrected, and approved by
the QA resource.
Awareness of data privacy and confidentiality while using AI tools.
Should not upload sensitive client data, credentials, production data, or
confidential business information into public AI tools.
Ability to use AI as a productivity assistant, not as a replacement for QA
judgment.
Preferred Skills
Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress,
or Playwright.
Basic programming knowledge in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or
Azure DevOps.
Knowledge of API testing using Postman, Swagger, REST Assured, or similar
tools.
Knowledge of database testing and SQL queries.
Exposure to AI-assisted QA tools or productivity tools.
Ability to write effective AI prompts for test case generation, defect reporting,
and QA documentation.
Basic understanding of test coverage, risk-based testing, and traceability
matrix preparation.
Knowledge of performance or security testing will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
