Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager to lead our footwear retail store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing store operations, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining inventory, and leading a high-performing team to achieve business objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Performance
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Drive store profitability through effective sales strategies and customer engagement.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rate, average bill value, and units per transaction.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales and improve customer experience.
Store Operations
- Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth functioning.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards as per company guidelines.
- Ensure store cleanliness, safety, and overall presentation.
- Handle cash management, billing, and POS operations accurately.
Inventory Management
- Monitor stock levels and ensure product availability.
- Conduct regular stock audits and inventory reconciliation.
- Minimize stock loss, shrinkage, and damages.
- Coordinate with warehouse and procurement teams for replenishment.
Team Management
- Supervise, train, and motivate store staff.
- Prepare duty rosters and manage attendance.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to team members.
- Foster a positive and customer-focused work environment.
Customer Service
- Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Resolve customer complaints and queries professionally.
- Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline.
- 2–3 years of experience as a Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, or Senior Sales Executive in the footwear, fashion, apparel, or retail industry.
- Strong understanding of retail store operations and inventory management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to achieve sales targets and manage a retail team effectively.
- Knowledge of POS systems and MS Office.
