Gram Shiksha Digital is an initiative of Rigveda India Skill Research Foundation focused on promoting affordable digital and skill-based education in rural and semi-urban India. Our mission is to empower students, youth, and communities with practical digital skills and career-oriented learning opportunities through short-duration live training programs.
We aim to make modern education accessible to everyone by offering skill-enhancement programs at minimal cost through online and community-based learning models.
Position Overview
We are looking for passionate and energetic “Youth Mentors” who can inspire and guide students, youth, and communities towards digital learning and skill development opportunities.
The Youth Mentor will work at village, school, community, and district levels to promote short-term live learning programs and encourage people to join skill-based digital education initiatives that can help improve careers, academics, self-employment opportunities, and job readiness.
This is a flexible part-time and remote working opportunity with attractive earning potential based on performance and admissions.
Key ResponsibilitiesCommunity Engagement & Awareness
- Visit schools, colleges, villages, coaching centers, and local communities.
- Conduct counselling sessions and awareness meetings for students and youth.
- Motivate aspirants to join affordable digital learning programs.
- Explain the benefits of skill-based learning for jobs, self-employment, and academic growth.
Group Creation & Student Mobilization
- Create and manage WhatsApp groups of students and aspirants.
- Build local learning communities at village and district levels.
- Encourage group participation in live learning sessions.
- Coordinate with students regarding class schedules and registrations.
Promotion of Skill-Based Programs
Promote short-duration live classes in areas such as:
- Digital Marketing
- Video Editing
- Stock Market Basics
- Financial Literacy
- AI & Robotics
- Technical Skills
- Digital Education
- Career Skills
- Spoken English
- Online Earning Skills
Programs are designed in short learning formats such as:
- 1 Hour Classes
- 2 Hour Workshops
- 3 Hour Skill Sessions
Student Guidance & Support
- Guide learners toward suitable courses based on their interests.
- Encourage regular participation in learning sessions.
- Support students in understanding digital opportunities and career pathways.
- Help create a positive and motivating learning environment.
Eligibility Criteria
- Passionate about education and youth empowerment.
- Good communication and networking skills.
- Active on WhatsApp and social media platforms.
- Ability to connect with students and communities.
- Basic smartphone and internet knowledge.
- Teachers, graduates, students, social workers, influencers, and career counsellors can apply.
