A Blocks Nexus is building EnsureInsured, a blockchain-powered insurance verification and enforcement ecosystem designed to modernize insurance compliance, fraud prevention, policy verification, and regulatory enforcement through secure digital infrastructure.
The platform leverages Hyperledger Fabric, cloud-native architecture, mobile applications, government dashboards, insurer integrations, and modern API-driven services to create a trusted ecosystem connecting governments, insurers, enforcement agencies, and citizens.
As we scale our engineering organization, we are seeking an experienced Senior React Frontend Developer to help with frontend development, design and implement scalable frontend architectures, build enterprise-grade web applications and dashboard interfaces, and lead junior team members.

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to effectively utilize modern "AI powered" engineering tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Devin, Windsurf, or equivalent platforms to accelerate development, improve software quality, enhance testing, automate repetitive tasks, and increase engineering productivity. The successful candidate should be comfortable working in "a human plus AI" development environment while maintaining strong software engineering fundamentals, security awareness, and code quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of modern web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Define frontend architecture, development standards, and best practices across projects.
- Develop scalable, responsive, and high-performance user interfaces and dashboard experiences.
- Build reusable components, shared libraries, and maintainable frontend frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, backend, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Lead frontend integration with backend APIs, authentication services, and external systems.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and architectural guidelines.
- Optimize application performance, accessibility, security, and user experience.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership across frontend initiatives.
- Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and drive resolution of production issues.
- Support deployment activities and contribute to CI/CD and release processes.
Key Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in frontend development with at least 4+ years of hands-on React experience.
- Strong expertise in React, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Proven experience designing and implementing scalable frontend architectures.
- Extensive experience building enterprise-grade web applications and dashboard interfaces.
- Strong understanding of component-based architecture and frontend design patterns.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and authentication mechanisms into frontend applications.
- Strong proficiency with state management solutions such as Redux, Zustand, Context API, or equivalent.
- Experience with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards.
- Experience with Git, code review processes, and modern development workflows.
