Assistant Manager- Audit is responsible for planning, executing, and supervising internal audits to ensure strong internal controls, regulatory compliance, financial accuracy, and operational efficiency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparation and execution of risk-based internal audit plans.
- Conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits across departments.
- Review accounting records, transactions, and supporting documentation.
- Evaluate internal controls and identify process weaknesses.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, etc.).
- Prepare draft audit reports with findings and recommendations.
- Follow up on audit observations and ensure timely closure.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors when required.
Key Skills:
- Financial analysis & risk assessment
- Strong understanding of statutory laws & taxation
- Contract review and commercial evaluation
- Report writing and stakeholder management
Eligibility Criteria:
- CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA (Finance) preferred
- 7-8 years of experience in Internal Audit / Statutory Audit
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and compliance framework.
