Job Description:
MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul School, Loni Kalbhor is seeking a dedicated and talented PRT Music Teacher (Vocal) to develop students' vocal abilities and appreciation for music. The ideal candidate should be passionate about teaching young learners and capable of creating an engaging and enjoyable musical learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct vocal music classes for primary grade students.
- Teach basic concepts of Indian classical and light vocal music.
- Train students in school prayers, patriotic songs, rhymes, and group singing activities.
- Prepare students for assemblies, annual functions, competitions, and cultural programmes.
- Identify and nurture students' musical talents through individual and group performances.
- Maintain records of students' progress and participation in music activities.
- Collaborate with teachers and school authorities for various school events.
- Encourage creativity, confidence, and stage presence among students.
- Uphold the values, policies, and standards of the institution.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Music (Vocal) from a recognized institution.
- Sangeet Visharad (Vocal) or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
- B.Ed. will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Vocal Music Teacher in a reputed school.
- Freshers with relevant qualifications and exceptional vocal skills may also apply.
- Experience in preparing students for performances and competitions will be preferred.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of vocal music and music theory.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate primary grade students.
- Good organizational and event management abilities.
Salary: Max 30,000 Gross per Month
