Job description
Role Objective
To build Snapdeal's social presence into a strong, relatable, and engaging brand voice for value-conscious consumers by driving meaningful engagement, visibility, and community not just vanity metrics.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand & Seller Storytelling
- Create engaging stories around products, sellers, and customer experiences
- Highlight value-driven shopping, deals, and everyday use-cases
- Collaborate with sellers and internal teams to amplify content
2. Thought Leadership & Brand Voice
- Translate Snapdeals value proposition (affordability, variety, trust) into engaging social content
- Convert ideas into snackable formats (reels, posts, carousels)
- Maintain a consistent, relatable brand voice
3. Community Engagement & Growth
- Actively engage with customers and online community (comments, DMs)
- Create interactive formats: polls, contests, trends, festive campaigns
- Ensure Snapdeal is part of daily consumer conversations
4. Platform & Content Strategy
- Own social platforms (primarily Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
- Experiment with formats while focusing on engagement and relevance
- Optimize timing, trends, and distribution strategies
5. Ecosystem as a Distribution Flywheel
- Leverage sellers, partners, and influencers to amplify reach
- Drive cross-posting, collaborations, and campaign visibility
- Reflect the breadth of Snapdeals marketplace
6. Measurement & Insights
- Track meaningful metrics: engagement, shares, saves, traffic, conversions
- Analyze content performance and continuously refine strategy
- Focus on impact, not just vanity metrics

- Snapdeal becomes a highly engaging and relatable social brand
- Increased customer engagement and repeat interaction
- Strong visibility during sales, deals, and campaigns
