What You Will Do
- Design and analyze steel structures including PEBs, industrial buildings, platforms, and other steel structures.
- Design beams, columns, rafters, bracing, purlins, girts, and steel connections.
- Perform structural analysis for applicable gravity, wind, seismic, and snow loads.
- Prepare and review structural calculations and design reports.
- Develop and review structural models using software such as STAAD.Pro, Tekla Structural Designer, SAP2000, ETABS, etc.
- Review structural/shop drawings and coordinate with detailing and other engineering teams.
- Check design results, identify issues, and provide engineering solutions.
- Work as an independent engineer and support junior engineers when required.
What You Bring
- Strong knowledge of Steel Structural Design and Analysis.
- Good understanding of steel connections, stability, buckling, load paths, drift, and deflection.
- Good knowledge of AISC / ASCE codes.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Experience in PEB, data centers, industrial buildings, or similar steel structures
is preferred.
